Car Performance Chrono for Smartphones does highly accurate car acceleration and speed measurements. Measure your car's 0-60 acceleration with your phone!
Measurement of acceleration from 0-60 mph and 0-100 kph is for free.
Any other test can be purchased via in-app purchase.
While your smartphone built-in GPS-chip is to slow (1Hz: which means you’re getting speed information once per second) thus it´s too inaccurate for proper time measurement like 0-60mph run, we have developed an algorithm which uses as well the smartphone internal accelerometer to re-calculate your speed.
IMPORTANT: A proper windshield mounting device for your smartphone is an essential prerequisite for this app. PLEASE do not buy or waste your time if you do not have a proper mounting device for your smartphone.
Car Performance Chrono gives you the ability of accurate car acceleration and performance measurements like:
- Customized acceleration speed tests in mp/h or km/h: e.g. 0-60 mph or 0-100 kph
- Customized acceleration distance tests in mile or meter: e.g. 1/8mile (201m), 1/4 mile (402m)
- Customized brake test: e.g. 60-0 mph or 100-0 kmh
- Customized Zero-to-Zero test
- Car speedometer
- Supports both metric and imperial units for all tests
You can adjust the test to your own need, for example create your own timer between any two speeds e.g. 60-120mph. You can easily create several car profiles in which your measurement results will be saved thus you can see your results again anytime.
